International Women’s Day

Today we celebrate all women out there. Keep empower and encourage them to pursue every day not just today.

I don’t wish women flowers on this day. Not just flowers. After all, they can buy themselves flowers and chocolates. And there is no shame.

On this day, I wish women to have people who respect them for what they are, not to put them on the wall for what they are not;

Let them have days when they are happy for all ten things they succeeded in, not sad for the one thing that didn’t work out;

To have men who not only guess what they want, but, when they don’t, ask them “can I help you with something?”;

To have partners who not only look for th e soup on the stove, but also cook the soup; which not only looks for lint, but also vacuums; who take out the garbage, prepare the children for school, set the table, wash the dishes;

To have people who do not feel obliged to send them to the pot or to the children or to both places at once.

To have people by their side or around them who don’t criticize them for how they walk, how they dress, how many kilos they weigh, how many kilos they don’t weigh, if they go to therapy, if they don’t go to therapy, if they go to church, if they don’t go to church , if I give birth naturally, if I do a caesarean section, if I breastfeed, if I give formula, if I don’t have children, if I do, if I’m able to raise them, if I’m not, if anything.

Let them have men who do not hit them, do not trample them, do not beat them to death, do not put them in the grave.

To have people who don’t always find them the first to blame for everything, especially for the too short skirt and the too red lipstick.

To have men who are good to them all year round, not just on March 8, on their birthdays and at Christmas.

To have people who respect them for what they are, not to put them on the wall for what they are not, no matter what putting on the wall we are talking about. No matter what kind of wall we’re talking about.

On Women’s Day, I wish all women people who respect them (more) and who know how to tell them “well done”, “keep calm”, “we’ll get over this”, “next time you can do better”, “don’t cry”, “you are crying”, “you are a good man”, “I am here”.

Women’s Day is not about flowers, hearts and chocolate. It’s about all the things that are much more important than flowers.

Let’s have a happy women’s day, let’s be good!
