Why marriages not work nowadays

This is why marriages not work nowadays

1. Spouses tend to compete each other other than complimenting one another

2. Always looking for flaws/makosa instead appreciating&concentrating on the goods one possess(NB:no one is perfect)

3. People nowadays view forgiveness & saying sorry as weakness.

4. Too much bad influence from third parties(friends, families, workmates etc)

5. Wrong reasons for settling down/choosing spouses(wrong foundations) e.g wealth, education, beauty, fame, pressure from friends & family etc

6. Wrong methods of winning a life partner, this one goes to men who use too many lies & promises of heaven to win wives only for the wives to be met by rude shock&disappointments after settling down.

7. Being perfectionists/know it all i.e not admitting mistakes & always thinking you’re right hence not giving a middle ground to discussions/dialogues, one partner will obviously feel caged & not given opportunity to express him/herself leading to death of intimacy.

8. Thinking that happy marriage is all about having plenty of money at disposal not realizing happiness,respect,understanding & care are so free n always a personal choice.

9. Too much insecurity with spouses always suspecting each other even when there is nothing to write home about…when trust dies love dies,respect follows, then understanding, sexual intimacy becomes a gone case then marriage is burred just coz of mere suspicion & focusing on negativity.

10. Lack of true wise guidance from the seniors(parents,spiritual leaders etc),most seem to evade reality & take sides hence causing more rift…few parents stands firm on morals, truths & fundamentals of marriage nowadays…
